This kitchen already had great bones. The cabinetry was beautifully built and in excellent condition, finished in a lighter tone that kept the space feeling open and airy. The quartzite countertops were another key element, with natural veining that added elegance and depth. Together, these elements gave the kitchen a solid foundation. What it needed was refinement-thoughtful changes that would elevate it from a space that simply worked to one that truly impressed. By keeping what was already strong and enhancing it with key changes, we avoided unnecessary cost and disruption while delivering a kitchen that felt entirely new.

The New Centerpiece
The island became our first focus. Although useful, it felt undersized and lacked the kind of presence a central island should bring to a kitchen. By introducing a butcher block top, we added both practicality and personality. The warm wood contrasted the cooler tones of the quartzite, softening the overall palette and introducing a natural rhythm to the space. It also expanded the functionality, making the island a true multi-purpose hub for cooking, serving, and gathering
Luxury Upgrades
To match the quality of the cabinetry and countertops, we selected new appliances that would raise the standard of the entire kitchen. A Sub-Zero refrigerator and other high-performance upgrades delivered both reliability and a sense of quiet luxury. These additions ensured the kitchen was not only beautiful but also ready for the demands of modern living.
